What is exciting about this role: 

As Research Support at FitForMe 🚀 you are an integral part of our Product & Medical Affairs team. You will support our research pipeline as we expand into new clinical questions, new partnerships, and new consumer health needs beyond bariatric care. You’ll play an essential role in planning studies, supporting ethics submissions, generating evidence, preparing publications, and ensuring smooth coordination across research projects.  

Your work will directly influence product design, scientific credibility, and FitForMe’s impact on global metabolic health. You’ll support our Medical Affairs Specialist and collaborate with universities, research institutes, and internal stakeholders turning data into insights that make a real difference.   

Your day-to-day: 

This position works closely with the Medical Affairs Specialist, following strategic priorities and ensuring high-quality execution of assigned research tasks. Ideal for someone eager to grow in clinical research and scientific innovation.    

  • Assist in planning and coordinating clinical and retrospective studies  

  • Support ethics submissions, regulatory documentation, and study follow-up, ensuring compliance with relevant standards  

  • Prepare scientific outputs, including publications, abstracts, posters, and conference materials  

  • Maintain research documentation and track project timelines, ensuring accurate, structured, and up-to-date files.  

  • Contribute to product substantiation papers, helping translate evidence into clear, scientific product support.  

  • Monitor external grant opportunities, contributing to applications and helping expand FitForMe’s research network.  

  • Engage with new external partners, including universities and researchers in emerging obesity-related domains.  

 

Who are we looking for? 

  • Experience: Early-career researcher with experience in study design, clinical research, or obesity-related research disciplines  

  • Language: English proficiency  

  • EducationMaster’s degree or PhD candidate, PhD or PostDoc in a relevant obesity or metabolic research field with epidemiology experience is a strong plus.  

  • Skills & competencies 

-  Solid grounding in clinical and scientific principles  

- Understanding of study design and evidence synthesis  

- Strong organizational and project management skills  

- Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and handle multiple priorities

  • Location: Based in the Randstad region
